New Forest Green Groups Network

Working with our communities is crucial in tackling climate and nature recovery.

Over 20 community eco groups across the New Forest work on areas including making space for nature, saving energy, sustainable transport and reduce/repair/recycle.

Together they:

• Share information, expertise and equipment
• Work together on events such as the New Forest and Hampshire County Show, Climate cafes, eco fairs, repair cafes, workshops and film screenings
• Join up on projects such as the Youth for Climate and Nature (YouCAN) scheme
• Find funding for initiatives (such as through the New Forest National Park Authority Sustainable Communities Fund)
• Promote the New Forest Climate and Nature Challenge pledge.
